Weddings are not permitted on the Beach in the Myrtle Beach City limits. Should you decide to stay in the City, where there are numerous Oceanfront and non-oceanfront resorts and hotels, we have several beach locations up to 15-20 minutes North or South, where we perform weddings in locations that offer public parking (for a FEE). If you envision a wedding ceremony where you are staying, we offer a list of recommended accommodations.

All along the “Grand Strand,” there are many types of places to stay: (Please note that most house rentals during the busier summer months ONLY rent on a Saturday to Saturday basis). Private Oceanfront Homes – some up to 6-8 bedrooms. Perfect for large families.

• If you dream of staying in a beach house and having your beach wedding on THE most secluded and (effectively) “private” stretch of beach in all of the Myrtle Beach area, then there is no doubt that you WILL want to stay in the LONG BAY ESTATES private sub-division area.  There are only a small number of houses in this area and outsiders not staying in one of these houses will NOT have access to the beach here.  LONG BAY ESTATES is easily our #1 beach house rental recommendation for your beach wedding!

• Non-oceanfront hotels – Most with outdoor pools.  These tend to be more reasonably priced than oceanfront.   We can recommend those with reception facilities.

• If your group requires 10 or more sleeping rooms, most hotels will offer you a group rate where you can “block” a set of rooms. Just ask the respective hotel that you call for the “group sales” department. When inquiring about a group block, it is always better to call rather than check rates online as they do not post discounted group rates there.

• Pet Friendly Hotels: There are a few oceanfront hotels that allow pets; such as Hilton Doubletree (formerly Springmaid), the Hilton – Myrtle Beach, Patricia Grand Resort, Ocean Park Resort and the Sea Mist Resort. Other non-oceanfront properties include the Comfort Suites on Frontage Road, Holiday Inn Express – Murrells Inlet, LaQuinta Inn and Suites, Red Roof Inn South Kings Highway and Staybridge Suites – Outlet Blvd.
